Here’s a quick update with the latest PTA news and reminders for the coming weeks.

Second-Hand Book Fayre – 28th January

Don’t forget our Second-Hand Book Fayre next Wednesday, straight after school in the Juniors Hall. We’ve had lots of wonderful book donations, all carefully organised by age group and price by our fabulous Vice Chair, Cat.

We currently have six volunteers helping to set up and run the event, but we can always use a few more pairs of hands. If you’re able to help, please join the WhatsApp group for more information.

Year 6 PE Kit

There’s just over a week left to place orders for the old Hammond PE kit. We still have plenty available and it’s completely free! Orders can be placed using the link below, and items will be delivered to school and sent home with your child.

Any kit remaining at the end of January will either be recycled via the textile bank or donated to other schools.

Barracudas Activity Camp – Discount Code

Barracudas have kindly offered us another discount code this year. You’ll receive £20 off per booking (minimum of two days), and they will donate £5 back to us for each booking made.

The code is valid for the Woking camp at Gordon’s School and can be used as many times as you like.

PTA Update

The PTA are meeting with Mrs Hooker tomorrow to finalise plans and dates for the rest of the year, so disco details will be shared as soon as possible.

We’ll also be discussing future funding for the school. If you have any ideas or suggestions for projects or resources we could help fund, please comment below – we’d love to hear them!
