Happy New Year from LVSPTA!
We’re excited to kick off the new term and wanted to give you a quick update on all the amazing events we have planned. Let’s make this term one to remember!
A HUGE thank you to everyone who generously donated books at the end of last term. Your support means the world to us! We’re planning a Book Fayre later this month and once we’ve confirmed the date with the school, we’ll share all the details. If you’ve got any more books to donate (perhaps after your post-Christmas clear out?), we’d love to take them off your hands! Just contact us here to arrange a drop-off.
The Big 2026 Challenge is coming! We’re challenging every child to raise £20.26 in any way they can think of - whether it’s a readathon, a toy sale, a sponsored walk, hula hooping, litter picking, or something totally creative! The more inventive, the better! We’ll be using the Superkind platform so the children can create their own pages and share pictures of their challenges. Stay tuned for more info, we plan to run this throughout the entire spring term!
Next up, the ever-popular school disco is making a comeback! We're just finalizing the date with the school and Magic Star Parties, and once we do, we’ll share all the booking info with you. Get ready to dance the night away!
We’re also planning our first-ever Easter Chocolate Raffle! We’ll be asking for year group specific Easter chocolate donations during our Non-Uniform Day on February 13th. These donations will be packaged into hampers and raffled off online on the last day of term. It’s going to be an egg-cellent event, so don’t miss out!
We’ll need plenty of volunteers throughout the term to make these events a success. Whether you can help out at the disco, sort Easter chocolates into hampers, or are a pro with cellophane and want to make our hampers look amazing, we’d love your help! We’ve set up a new WhatsApp group (admins only post) to make sure we can easily reach out for help and avoid bombarding you with endless messages. You’ll be added to a group that’s specific to the event you’re helping with. Click here to join our Helpers Group.
